Caracol

It is a city in Kyrgyzstan located east of Lake Issyk-Kul, an hour and a half away by car.
It is a quiet city with a simple urban character, preserving the natural landscape, and there are many natural places waiting to be explored.
World Ski Station:
Located at an altitude of 3,040 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Tien Shan Mountains, it is the highest ski resort in Central Asia.
In the summer, you can climb to the top via cable car for a nominal price and enjoy the wonderful views and pure atmosphere.
Valley of the Seven Bulls (Giti Oguz Valley)
A natural tourist area with clean air, characterized by the presence of a center for horse milk (al-Qamiz), which is used as a treatment for many diseases.
The valley takes its name from 7 red hills that resemble bulls. It also contains in its center another hill that resembles a broken heart (a reddish rock in the shape of a broken heart), as the place attracts a large number of local and foreign tourists.
Barskun Waterfall:
The waterfall is located at an altitude of about 2,500 thousand meters above sea level. In fact, there are 4 waterfalls nearby, the most accessible being the Chalice of Manas and the Tear of Leopard. The water is very cold even in summer.
Dungani Mosque:
A very beautiful and unusual mosque, more than 1,500 years old. It was built within three years and made entirely of wood. What is special about it is that not a single nail was used in its construction, which is one of the methods that distinguish classical Chinese architecture.
Holy Trinity Church:
When Karakol was a garrison city on the outskirts of the Tsarist Russian Empire, it was the first church built.
This church was destroyed in 1889 due to an earthquake that claimed many lives. Six years later, the church was rebuilt, and it is distinguished from the rest of the churches in Europe in terms of the inscriptions on its walls.
Soviet health resort:
A resort isolated from the city in the embrace of nature. Its history and buildings go back to the Soviet era, and it was considered a center for psychological and physical therapy and convalescence. There is a spring of water of a therapeutic nature emerging from the mountain, which contains many important substances such as sulfur. The most important minerals found in the water can be read. Through a painting hanging above the water spring, you can walk around it and take some pictures.
Figs Al-Arshan:
Altyn Arshan, a Kyrgyz word that literally means “golden resort,” is a vast green natural space, surrounded by towering mountains. Mountains covered with snow throughout the year, known for their hot springs. The most famous hot springs in Kyrgyzstan are found in Altyn Arshan.
Wadi Kok Jayek:
It is one of the most famous valleys of Karakol. It contains many rivers and vast green spaces. It is a first destination for tourists, as you can reach through it by horse only a waterfall at the top of the mountains called (Girls’ Tears) Waterfall.
Al-Kol Lake:
Ala-Kul Lake is located between the rocky ranges of the Tersky-Ala-Too mountains, at an altitude of 3532 metres. The area of ​​this glacial lake is less than 1.5 square kilometers and its depth reaches more than 70 metres. It is a “coloured lake” that changes color depending on the weather.
Lake Sonkol in Naryn Province:
It is located in an elevated area, reaching an altitude of 3000 metres.
We advise you to visit it to see its stunning landscapes. You can take a boat trip, fish, and swim in the fresh lake.
In addition, it is a grazing area, due to the presence of vast green spaces, where grazing has been done since ancient times.
